Derivatives can be detrimental to the stock market due to their potential to amplify risks and magnify losses, as well as their complex nature and potential for manipulation. They can also exacerbate market instability and systemic risk, leading to potential crashes or bubbles.
We’ve seen it before in 2008 and we’re about to see it again if ‘Naked Short Selling’ and ‘Failure to Deliver’ are allowed to continue. The question is ‘who will do their jobs to prevent market manipulation? The time is NOW to protect the retail household investors from Hedge Funds like Citadel, Point 72 and others.
