Having read through the release and the comments, there are so many deficiencies it is shocking. This is not how the government should be acting, and the CFTC Commissioners who voted yes on this should be ashamed to have their names associated with this. Congress should strongly question their objectivity, judgment, and integrity. This is a blatant attempt to legislate and usurp Congress's authority. And worse, the release is filled with thin attempts to mask blatant deficiencies in reasoning. I question the motivation behind this rule and I am disappointed as a taxpayer at this callosal waste of resources.
