Prediction markets provide valuable data to compare and contrast with polling. They also encourage participants to recognize reality, such as the 2020 election outcome, or put their money where their mouth is.
As long as they are limited to small investments prediction markets cannot realistically incentivize bad behavior -- the small potatoes being traded are a drop in the ocean compared to lobbyists and revolving door politics. Please do not end prediction markets.
