Prohibiting regulated election contracts will inevitably drive trading activity to offshore, unregulated markets. This outcome would reduce oversight and eliminate important consumer protections. For the sake of maintaining a safe, transparent trading environment, I strongly encourage the CFTC to vote against this shortsighted proposal.
