I view election markets as a critical avenue of voicing - or speaking - one’s belief about an election outcome. A process which is sacred in our democracy.
The only reason I can find for someone to want to remove these, is that they provide an independent source of information on. A country that cared about democracy would embrace that alternative data source. A country that no longer cared for the voice of the people would seek to remove it.
