The proposed rule fails to acknowledge the vital role that innovation plays in enhancing market efficiency and responsiveness. By stifling new ideas and approaches, the CFTC may inadvertently create a vacuum that allows less regulated markets to thrive. This could lead to a situation where U.S. investors miss out on valuable opportunities available in offshore markets. A forward-thinking regulatory framework is essential to keep innovation within our borders.
