I am a user of Kalshi and PredictIt and must let you know that election prediction markets foster civic engagement by providing citizens a tangible way to express their views on electoral outcomes. This engagement is crucial for a healthy democracy. Please reconsider the proposed ban and instead focus on how these markets can be leveraged to increase public participation in the political process. The unintended -- or perhaps intended -- consequences of this rule are vast.
