Banning election prediction markets will have the unintended consequence of pushing them offshore or underground. This could increase risks of manipulation and fraud, as they would operate without CFTC oversight. I implore you to maintain these markets under your purview with appropriate safeguards and do the right thing to shut down the illegal players.
