I've personally used PredictIt for years and believe the platform is a tool for public service. In an era of unprecedented access to news and informations, finding accurate sources which cut through the hype is at a premium. The team at PredictIt is dedicated to managing a political prediction platform with integrity and transparency. This platform is about data and studying the wisdom of the crowd.
A shared sentiment among many of my peers is confusion as to why, after years of permitting PredictIt to operate, the CFTC seemed to upend PredictIt without warning or explanation. I urge the CFTC to reconsider its position, and rather to work with PredictIt to correct any issues.
