    Comment Text:

As a technology entrepreneur, I support the approval of event prediction contracts related to congressional control. These contracts have the unique role in potentially predicting legislative impacts on innovation, digital policies, and startup ecosystems. Technology entrepreneurs could use these markets to anticipate regulatory changes that affect market entry barriers, intellectual property rights, and data privacy regulations. For example, predictions on congressional outcomes would inform strategic planning and investment decisions in emerging technologies and digital platforms.

The proposed ban threatens to strangle innovation and opportunities for technology startups to navigate regulatory uncertainties effectively. By providing a regulated environment for market participation, these contracts would in turn promote investor confidence and support sustainable growth in the technology sector. The CFTC should support regulatory frameworks that foster innovation and entrepreneurship by approving these contracts.

    Vote NO on the proposal!
