These markets provide valuable insights into political dynamics and legislative outcomes that traditional polling methods or “expert” opinions and predictions often fail to capture accurately. The proposed ban threatens to undermine the integrity of policy analysis and puts opportunities for evidence-based policymaking that reflects the diverse needs of our communities in a chokehold.
