Election futures markets like PredictIt are not gaming or gambling. They are legitimate pursuits which require and support constructive engagement with political, economic, and social issues in our country. They also have been shown to be effective hedges for risk for average people who simply can use their time and knowledge to interpret current events and represent their points of view. In that sense, we have a first amendment right to express our opinions and beliefs in prediction markers, a right which you are obligated to protect. Thank you for your consideration.
