Betting on election outcomes is not merely "rolling the dice". It takes a certain amount of skill to do it successfully...like sports betting. It's ironic the gov't wants to prohibit it at a time where actual gambling is becoming legal in more and more states. And many states are themselves promoting gambling with the various forms of state sponsored lotteries.
