I've never personally signed up to bet on a prediction market, much less a political one, but I think it's good for them to exist and it's useful to be able to see consensus projections on things that might happen, outsourcing some tedious research and so on that I might otherwise do myself. I believe in the potential of prediction markets as a tool and think the potential benefits outweigh the possible drawbacks
