I am strongly opposed to betting on any elections for office in the USA. Doing so will invite all sorts of corruption and manipulation on every level. This will basically turn the democracy we now have into a sideshow.
The future of the democracy is looking more grim as it turns into a money grab...sold to the highest bidders.
The USA is a great country. If you compromise the principles on which this democracy was built, there is no doubt that we will all be living in a country that we no longer recognize
