You must not allow wagering on the outcome of our elections.
Allowing this proposal will undermine the integrity of our elections and our democracy. As with sports, allowing this proposal it will will create strong financial incentives for special interests to manipulate and interfere in our elections.
Confidence in our democratic process has already sunk to a very low point, this proposal will reduce voter confidence further, and lead to a perception that election outcomes are not solely determined by voters’ choices, but also by those who bet on election results.
You must stand firm to prevent putting personal gain ahead of the public interest.
Again, Please REJECT this Proposal.
