Allowing gambling on the outcome of US elections will only encourage those who wish to harm our election system. historically some Gamblers have tried to influence the outcome of the events they bet on by bribes and other nefarious methods. We are having enough trouble keeping our elections fair and open to all citizens as it is. Do not allow gambling to muddy the waters further.
