To Whom it may Concern,
The idea of election gambling is ABSURD, for myriad reasons.
First and foremost it will undermine the integrity of our elections and our democracy.
It will create strong financial incentives for special interests to manipulate and interfere in our elections.
It will reduce voter confidence, and lead to a perception that election outcomes are not solely determined by voters’ choices, but also by those who bet on election results.
It puts personal gain ahead of the public interest.
And lastyly, it undermines the principle of one person, one vote – the bedrock of our democracy.
SAVE OUR DEMOCRACY do not allow this Indecent Proposal to see the light of day.
