I oppose allowing any kind of betting framework for election outcomes.
Allowing betting on election outcomes will create strong financial incentives for special interests to manipulate and interfere in our elections.
The instinct for making money brings out the worst in American society, and it should not be allowed to taint public elections. It's one thing when traders try to jawbone a stock value or corner a commodity, but this is our democracy we're talking about. Absolutely no making money from election results.
