I support the proposed Kalshi market on which political party will be in control of each chamber Congress.
Which party controls Congress has incredible consequences. Any one piece of legislation passed or not passed can affect the country for decades. The political and media machine sees billions of dollars pushed through it every election cycle. Misinformation and disinformation is rampant.
Many ordinary people, non-profits, and businesses have a very strong interest in cutting through all the spin and hyperbole to try and figure out which direction the next legislative session will go and how to prepare for it.
This approach is an incredibly useful idea as a market has no bias and no agenda. It is simply a pure forecast by a large group of people on the outcome of an event.
