Please do not gamble with our democracy. Allowing this proposal will undermine the integrity of our elections and our democracy. Betting on election outcomes will create strong financial incentives for special interests to manipulate and interfere in our elections while reducing voter confidence and leading to a perception that election outcomes are not solely determined by voters’ choices but by those who bet on election results.
It would be putting personal gain ahead of the public interest and undermining the principle of "one person, one vote," which is the bedrock of our democracy. This is a serious threat to what makes this country great. Please say NO to election gambling!
