Election markets are a crucial barometer to forecast elections without bias and to counter misinformation campaigns. They allow the free market to price in likely outcomes without volatile swings and creates stability in the markets.
Sites like Kalshi and PredictIt are a necessity in today's society.
We already have legalized sports betting in some states, and futures/options trading are essentially gambling as it is. Please consider allowing election prediction markets a legal, regulated option for the reasons listed above.
