Delaying the reporting of SWAPS data is not sound regulation. Any of it. Having less information can't be beneficial. It also doesn't promote integrity in the slightest. If it had any integrity at all, there would be absolutely no reason to delay. This move has been entirely counter to the CFTC's reason to even exist. It cannot set precedence to delay reporting of other areas of the markets.
The CFTC should require all swap data be reported efficiently and as accurate as possible. If there's nothing to hide, no reason not to report. Simple.
