I'm incredibly concerned by the character and content in these comments submissions. Across the board, we're clearly seeing individuals with significant economic interest commenting in favor of this proposal. For example, YCombinator, which owns at least 7% of Kalshi, supporting the proposal is about as surprising as Kalshi employees, board members, and compensated individuals from supporting it.
I urge the committee to reject this proposal and, as another commenter states (a Business School Professor), insulate sacred elections from financial speculation.
