I am a individual with a family who is in full support of elections markets coming to the Kalshi exchange for me to hedge on. Political control affects me in many ways. Specifically healthcare, public education, taxes, employment are just a few that can affect me and my family directly. I would use Kalshi's contracts to hedge many different possible outcomes from the political elections, like increase taxes, the future of public education for my family and many more.
