Hello,
I would like to voice support as a citizen and user of Kalshi for the allowance of politically based contracts.
On that note I would also voice support for predictit and hope the CFTC will allow them to continue operating in the future.
the markets are betting markets that don't conflict with the futures markets regulated by the CFTC, present no deliverable product, and don't have any sort of comparable market outside of these sites.
There are no congressional control futures traded at the CME, yet people have interest in hedging political risk as well as entering into speculative positions in these markets.
Please allow them to operate,
