I respectfully request that the CFTC approve KalshiEx Proposed Congressional Control Contracts under CFTC Regulation 40.11. These markets will help all Americans, myself included, hedge against all manner of financial risks presented by party control of the House and Senate. In times of soaring inflation, increasing interest rates, and high gas prices, every American should have the right to hedge against these risks to their pocketbook. We live in a free market capitalist system, and there is nothing more American than being able to trade on the outcome of political events that could shape our individual financial futures. The time is now for the CTFC to approve these contracts and allow Americans to free themselves from adverse political outcomes through hedging in these markets. Thank you for your time.
