There is no reason why something available to financial institutions, tracked by research desks at those same institutions, should be available to average Americans. Often Americans are exposed to a lot of potential fiscal impacts from new laws (tax cuts or tax hikes, regulatory risks). Their livelihoods may depend on which party holds power (for example, a green energy startup may really depend on green energy policies).
