To whom it may concern,
Daily, weekly and monthly reporting is and has always been an unbiased and integral source of data collection. Without it, market participants are blind to certain potential pitfalls which are already numerous given contemporary market volatility. In short, numbers do not lie and are additive to traders. It is difficult to see the benefit in limiting transparency in any market, but especially cotton. How is useful for traders to be less informed at a time speculative positions are being enlarged and computer trading more disruptive? It is supremely important to be able to identify market composition and like COT reporting, On Call reporting is useful and necessary.
