Greetings,
I'm Tameka A. Hawk I'm writing to suggest that the Law for Whistleblowers will upgrade to six months is the maximum time allowed for Whistleblowers to be paid.
I respectfully suggest this because it will allow whistleblowers to escape retaliation from those whom the whistle has being blown. I blew the whistle at Walgreens as an Management/Shiftlead employee. This took place in September 21, 2013 (the day I was setup and fired) after blowing the whistle.
I'm still waiting for my payout award. It's being over four years!
I think it would be great if it took place for every whistleblower sooner.
