Chairman Christopher Giancarlo,
Thanks for supporting the growth of blockchain technology, and allowing USA to be a leader for innovation in emerging technologies. Regulation that hinders blockchain due to fear of misuse without clear understanding of technology from the government will hinder growth both financially and technologically.
I'm a grad student working in engineering and I am always afraid of regulation being placed on technology that is poorly understand by those with governing power. The discussion today highlighted important points and views from multiple sides. I am glad the US government sees potential and will not outright ban the cryptocurrency scene and hope that regulations will not completely halt future progress.
