I was very impressed with the open mindedness of CFTC Chair J. Christopher Giancarlo on the issue of cryptocurrencies. A thoughtful regulation approach is key to the adoption of these potentially transformational technologies. Regulation is necessary, but allowing this space to grow is critical toward our ability to harness what it's capable of doing. This is a pivotal moment, akin to the birth of the Internet, I hope these types of discussions can continue.
