Topflight Grain needs the ability to pre-hedge grain especially during harvest to lay off risk of flat price grain purchased after market hours. Our farmer customers expect Topflight to post a cash bid and be able to buy grain during our regular business hours and during Saturday and Sunday during Harvest. I would not want tell our customers that we do not have that risk management toll available to us because of these proposed changes the Bona Fide hedging definitions.
