Speculators, day traders, micro-trading and the like, do nothing for markets and the greater economy and can be equated to what the mob does when they charge "juice" to allow legitimate businesses to operate. These activities require no skill, provide no goods or services, and serve only to line the pockets of a few greedy individuals, while creating instability in markets. It is absurd that this activity is allowed, and I urge our public officials to put an end to this criminal behavior.
