I faced several layoffs during the financial crisis created by Wall Street firms risking bets on derivatives taking all the gains for themselves then holding the whole economy hostage and asking for tax payer help when they lost money.
We need strong regulations such as Dodd - Frank and these regulations need to be effective globally or this activity will just move offshore. I understand that several loopholes in the current bill will allow wall street firms to just move their activities offshore and cause the same problems back home in the U.S.A. Please close these loopholes and enforce these regulations keep Americans Safe from Wall Street financial failures.
