I belong to a group of family law litigants in San Diego who have fallen victim to a series of financial crimes within San Diego Court.

It has become the trend to skip trace a family law litigant, determine that there are assets and by structuring a family law case the attorneys work in collusion with Court personnel to deceive the Court record, delay resoluation and churn the case similar to a tainted broker working in an unregulated boiler room.

I initially thought my case was an isolated event until I attended a meeting spear headed by San Diego's previous City Attorney Michael Aguirre. He immediately determined that the 50 litigants who attended the meeting all had one thing in common; we were working class people primarily white who are being used as commodities along with our children.

San Diego Family Law Court has become a haven for waste and corruption. Recently within that Court Theresa Erickson was prosecution for a 6 year International Baby Selling Ring. She falsified Court records and had the tax payers pay for the birth of children thru Medical. To date the medical fraud has not been addressed and Theresa Erickson will only spend 5 mos in jail. Also another alarming component is no agnecy in San Diego assigned to address government fraud detected this international baby selling ring preying on parents who desperately wanted to adopt. It was an attorney in Los Angeles who detected the spike in probate cases in San Diego.

The spike in "high conflict" family law cases litigating for 10 to 15 years is not coming up on anyone's radar. My daughter and I were given a meeting per instruction by the California AOC with Michael Rody the CEO of the San Diego Courts. My daughter expressed concern that her Court Appointed Minor's Counsel Marcia Guy Orenstein, Esq who billed the County of San Diego aka tax payers for her "services" failed to meet with her, express her wishes or ensure a good education. We advised Michael Rody that there are other litigants being used simply for money and no issues were being resolved even child support. The attorney fees for these "high conflict" cases range anywhere from $400,000 up to several million. This is simply to obtain a divorce. Litigants are forced to see certain specialist and pay fees over $30,000. These professionals require cash payments. Similar to organized crime these attorneys work in collusion with other Court professionals. Court appointed evaluators, special master. The case are layers to ensure work for all of the attorneys' friends.

These financial crimes sructuring of these cases ensure job security and income for the attorneys for long periods excessive periods of time.

These litigants working class Americans when their savings are cleaned out and the litigation lasting 10 to 15 years takes its toll are simply called "disgruntled". Large sums of money being moved and not accurately reported. Eileen Lasher
