i feel that this e-mail will just go through a computer program, pick
up on keywords and respond back with whatever the pre-determined
programed response. i don't understand what is really going on. it
just seems to be with no real explanation other than the confusing
reasons the media gives. plus, it seems convenient that they say sorry
folks gas is going up and it just does again no reason other than
because they said it. also, i know ceo's get bonuses on what they
think might happen with the company; if it happens great if not oh
well but they still get the bonuses. i heard that these oil companies
    are doing this too something about paper barrels vs. wet barrels;
money to cover these bonuses has to come from somewhere. also, why can
these gas stations charge say $3.40 one day and then the next day it
is $3.45? they are getting an extra nickel per gallon when the gas in
the tanks didn't cost that much when it was delivered. i know when gas
goes down that the same thing applies however they have no problems
going up fast but going back down takes forever.
i heard some politician or ceo got 400 million dollars for pocket
change? what is that about? if gas companies can give that sort of
incentive they can easy off the prices. what about the exporting of
gas? why are we exporting gas? we need to tax the mess out of that
gas. if we are going to do this, then there should be a charge up to
us; also, it should bring down the prices here in the states. next, we
are making money from other countries by converting their money to
ours so they can buy gas. all the above it isn't right when so many
folks are having troubles. i can't get a new car can barely afford to
keep the one i got running. i only use gas for work and to cut grass.
i don't have motorcycles, boats, etc., make only the needed stops for
things like doctors, food, etc. & i don't drive to just to drive. the
problem with folks today is they these newer cars make life to easy so
they don't really "bark". if they were all like the old days with no
air condition, radio, mp-3, automatic transmissions, etc. people would
only drive when absolutely necessary & you would be getting a lot more
e-mails on this subject. plus there wouldn't be as much traffic,
pollution and road problems. i know folks might say than how would our
country grow without this technology & the such but just because you
are moving doesn't mean it is progress. something needs to be done
now. we can't wait for another election or if some other country
decides they are not going to play nice with others. we have the means
now and we need to use it and not put everything in foreign interests.

    sincerely,

p.s. i had sent this to questions cftc.com becasue i wasn't aware of the change. i was also told that refineries closed. they need to be re-opened there is no reason for these gas prices being what they are. an anchor on today even laughed at the idea that gas stations are price gouging. this is not funny. i ma tired of the chess pans and the worry about wheter or not i am goign t opay my bills and so forth. please, please fix this.
