As a political scientist who studies American politics, I would like to indicate my support for the NADEX proposal. Political prediction markets provide important information for social scientists and are a valuable tool for teaching and research. Their value can only be fully realized, however, if they are allowed to operate in the US at a scale that provides profit incentives which will attract liquidity. This proposal is an important first step in that direction.
