I wish the people who "work" on Capital Hill would have to live in my reality! I make $30,000.00 a year. I have not had a pay increase in over 3 years. With everything costing more, especially gas, I am now having to make hard choices. Do I put gas in my car or eat?! If you truely have the ability to keep gas prices down, then why aren't you doing it?! Stop messing around, pass some sort of law to limit how high the price of gas can go! I can't afford another year of the same...you have your comfortable job and home, I have nothing! I am almost 54 years old. I am single. I work. I do not qualify for any type of assistance. You need to help all Americans who live like I do or worse. How about earning your pay? Do something!
