Good Morning,
I am writing to express my concern with the tremendous increase in gas prices over the last year or so. The gas prices in Ohio and across other states are hitting record highs. As a result of this many consumers are forced to cut back on other needs. I fear that this will continue to have a negative impact on the economy as people will not be able to spend money on other items. Please change the laws to prevent speculators from artificially inflating the price of oil in order to make record profits. Despite what the economic reports state, this country is still in a deep recession and many people simply cannot afford basic necessities.
