Silver Manipulation
I appreciate the recent update concerning the ongoing silver investigation. I hope in the future the updates will come more often.
As an independent trader in the silver markets, I have become frustrated with the apparent manipulation that takes place. We, the independent traders depend on the CFTC to enforce the rules (laws), to make it a fair playing field for all participants, not just a few large institutions.
The lack of enforcement by the CFTC is beginning to drive away the small independent traders. As you know, this is a thinly traded market, which is subject to huge price swings often times in the middle of the night orchestrated by large institutions that have short positions.
I encourage Chairman Gensler and Commissioner Chilton to bring these investigations to a conclusion. We, independent traders are losing faith in the CFTC
