Although this comment is supposed to be directed to wheat futures, it reall should apply to all. The purpose of futures trading was to stabilize market by providing a guaranteed future price. Because of the way things have evolved, futures trading has now become a force for destabilazation. It needs to have very strict regulations to control the traders and keep them from artificially running up the market or destroying it.
