On behalf of the Working Group of Commercial Energy Firms, Hunton & Williams LLP respectfully submits these comments to the “Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on Adaptation of Regulations to Incorporate Swaps” issued by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and published in the Federal Register on June 7, 2011 in order to conform the many new rulemakings promulgated pursuant to Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (the “Act”) to the Commission’s existing regulations.
