Might I suggest that the Commissioners start blogs instead of their "email speech releases", so that they will have the ability to get feedback and interact with their customers, the public.
For instance, the following speech title pasted below, that I received in my email, would also be posted on a blog, so that two-way communication between the CFTC commission/commissioners and the public can be achieved.
As well, your "Public RoundTables" could have Facebook and Twitter discussions attached live. I attended the Whitehouse gov "webreform" meeting last week that had this feature, and it was very informative, interesting and inspiring to be in contact with the others that were watching the same video meeting at the Whitehouse live.
