BG Americas & Global LNG ("BGA") respectfully submits these comments in response to the request for public comment regarding the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s (the “CFTC” or “Commission”) Notice of Proposed Order for Effective Date of Swap Regulation, which was published in the Federal Register on June 17, 2011. The comments submitted by BGA in the above-referenced proceeding address specific aspects of the Notice of Proposed Order, as well as the sequencing of final rules issued by the Commission implementing Subtitle A of Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010.
