On behalf of the Working Group of Commercial Energy Firms, Hunton & Williams LLP hereby submits these comments in response to the request for public comment set forth in the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s Notice of Proposed Order, Effective Date for Swap Regulation, published in the Federal Register on June 17, 2011, which proposes to grant, pursuant to Section 4(c) of the Commodity Exchange Act (“CEA”) temporary relief to various requirements of the CEA that apply or may apply to certain agreements, contracts, and transactions.
