To whom it may concern:
I am writing you to demand that you impose and enforce the Wall Street Reform Act and the Dodd-Frank Rules in order to reduce the cost of gasoline and energy for average American consumers like me. I am calling on you to regulate the speculation of oil futures and to in doing so reduce the price of energy for the American people.
Also, I think the following should be done.

ABOUT ENERGY INDEPENDENCE:
The only assured way to energy independence:
First, Our government must stop subsidies to BIG OIL as soon as Possible.
Second, We must have Fossil fuel legislation to impose federal standards for renewable energy resources.
Big Oil and a few other industries spend millions on lobbying congress to block any such legislation on energy standards or those that would diminish their special status. These same industries receive government subsidies that must end.
Government must require the following industries to work together to establish and become partners achieving sustainable alternatives for multiple energy resources through research, development and production of re newable energy resources. (Public Private Partnership )
This necessitates a percentage of the industries huge profits to be allocated for this exclusive purpose.
Petroleum, Natural Gas, Chemical industries, automotive, and Battery manufacturing Industries, as well as electric manufacturing Industries and electric utilities.
This partnership must be a National mandatory partnership that requires these industries to contribute a portion of their Profits to be used exclusively for Research, development and production of alternative, re-newable energy sources.
Member of the Research Partnership will benefit financially in the successful developments of alternative energy resources.
And will not require government financing to establish and monitor the partnership and progress.
This must be a partnership with government oversight and review that can be charged to the partnership's research operation.
This is the only assured way to energy independence for our nation and will require such a mandate for establishing sustainable energy resources.
