I am just one of the many people trying to scrape by in this sad economic world. It saddens me that the oil speculators continue to dig into our lint coated pockets for more and more money because they can. Why is this allowed to continue? Is there anyone out there that will stand up for the workers of America? Are we really only out for each other? With the continued rise of gas I am unable to obtain the necessary medications and food to sustain myself through the week because I have to put gas in my tank to get to work. I'm now asking myself why am I going to work? I feel as though I go to work every day so that I can line the pockets of the oil industry. I stay sick and hungry so others can be rich. Is this what we have to look forward to fron now on? Why is it the working class must suffer so the oil industry can continue to line the pockets?
