I am a single mother & grandmother working in the school system as a teacher's assistant in a multi-handicapped classroom. With all of the upcoming educational budget cuts, I'm not even sure I have a job this next school year.
I live with my partner and he is attending college about 90 miles away from our home town. He drives to school and back home 5 days a week. With the rising price of gasoline it has put a tremendous strain on our finances. We have fallen behind on our rent, utilities and phone bills. We don't have money for our prescriptions and food.
Please get the gas prices under control and get them lowered to a reasonable amount.
