    As consumers, we know that speculation and greedy oil companies are the reason for the high gas prices. When the conflict Libya started, it was clearly stated that their oil has nothing to do with US oil. It all affected European oil. With national news agencies announcing record profits for oil companies, that also makes the average consumer wonder about the high prices. There have been conflicts in the past and oil prices never spiked.
    It is time to nail these speculators who profit from this and to tell big oil to stop taking profits from consumers from keeping everything high for the lining of their own pockets while the average consumer has to make sacrifices just to get by!
